As an Applied / Practical Mathematics Tutor / Educator, you will deliver tailored lessons in financial maths, business maths, accounting maths, data handling, and real-life problem-solving. You will help students strengthen conceptual understanding, develop analytical skills, and prepare for assessment tasks aligned with their curriculum.
This role is ideal for educators experienced in Secondary → Pre-University applied maths, including exam-focused and real-world applications.

Education & Academic Background
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Education (Mathematics)
Prior tutoring or teaching experience in applied / practical mathematics
Strong subject knowledge in financial maths, business maths, accounting maths, data handling, and problem-solving
Curriculum & Pedagogical Knowledge
Familiarity with school curricula taught in Dubai:
IB DP: Mathematics: Applications & Interpretation
American High School: Applied / Business Maths
British IGCSE: Business / Applied Maths
Ability to design exam-focused and real-world application lessons
Awareness of skill progression from foundational concepts to advanced applied mathematics
Teaching & Resource Skills
Ability to plan and deliver structured lessons aligned with the curriculum
Comfortable creating and using teaching resources (worksheets, practice exercises, case studies, real-life scenarios)
Skilled in giving constructive feedback and tracking student progress
Communication & Professionalism
Strong verbal and written communication in English
Professional, reliable, and punctual
Able to communicate clearly with students and parents regarding goals, progress, and expectations
Legal & Work Eligibility
Must hold a valid UAE visa that legally permits freelance or commission-based work
Valid MOHRE tutoring/teaching permit required
No visa sponsorship or employment benefits provided
Applicant responsible for maintaining their own legal work eligibility
Compensation
💰 Commission-based
Earn a percentage of fees per session or package delivered
Earnings are performance-based and uncapped
