Study Skills Coach

Role Overview

We are looking for a Study Skills Coach to teach students effective learning strategies, organisational skills, and evidence-based study techniques. You will help students from primary through to university level develop the tools they need to study efficiently and with confidence.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess students' current study habits, approaches, and challenges

• Teach evidence-based study techniques (spaced repetition, active recall, mind-mapping)

• Help students organise notes, revision timetables, and study schedules

• Build students' metacognitive awareness and self-directed learning

• Support students preparing for public exams (IGCSE, IB, A-Level, SAT)

• Work with students experiencing study anxiety or motivation challenges

• Provide parents with guidance on supporting effective study at home

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or Psychology

• MOHRE Tutor Permit or eligibility to obtain

• Minimum 2 years study skills coaching or tutoring experience

• Familiarity with evidence-based learning science

Preferred Qualifications

• Coaching certification

• Experience with high-achieving or gifted students

• Knowledge of exam board requirements (CAIE, Edexcel, IBO)

UAE Licensing Requirements

Tutors and educational specialists operating in the UAE are required to hold a valid MOHRE Tutor Permit or equivalent work authorisation. Applicants must hold, or be eligible to obtain, the relevant permit before providing in-person services. Please ensure compliance with UAE Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation regulations.

UAE Visa & Work Eligibility

Applicants must be legally authorised to work in the UAE through one of the following:

• Own UAE Employment Visa

• Golden Visa

• Green Visa

• Freelance Permit

• Dependent Visa with legal work eligibility

• Any other valid UAE work authorisation
