Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and compassionate Healthy Digital Habits & Family Responsibility Tutor to help children and teenagers develop a balanced relationship with technology while fostering responsibility, independence, and positive family values. You will work one-on-one with learners to build healthy screen-time habits, digital wellbeing, self-discipline, online safety awareness, and practical life skills that contribute to a harmonious home environment.
Sessions focus on helping students become responsible digital citizens who can manage technology wisely, contribute positively to family life, and develop lifelong habits that support their emotional wellbeing, academic success, and personal growth.
Key Responsibilities
Assess each student's digital habits, daily routines, and family responsibilities
Develop personalised coaching programmes tailored to the learner's age, developmental stage, and family goals
Teach healthy screen-time management and balanced technology use
Promote responsible use of social media, gaming, messaging, and digital devices
Educate students on digital wellbeing, online safety, cyberbullying prevention, digital etiquette, and responsible online behaviour
Help students develop routines that balance schoolwork, hobbies, family time, exercise, sleep, and recreational technology use
Encourage responsibility through age-appropriate household responsibilities, organisation, and self-management skills
Teach time management, self-discipline, and accountability for personal responsibilities
Foster respectful communication, cooperation, and positive family relationships
Guide parents in implementing healthy digital boundaries, consistent routines, and positive reinforcement strategies at home
Maintain professional session records and monitor student progress
Collaborate with tutors, educators, counsellors, or other professionals where appropriate
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Child Development, Counselling, Social Work, Family Studies, Occupational Therapy, or a related field
MOHRE Tutor Permit or eligibility to obtain
Minimum 2 years' experience working with children or adolescents in educational, coaching, counselling, or family support settings
Strong understanding of child development, digital wellbeing, and positive behaviour support
Preferred Qualifications
Certification in Digital Citizenship, Positive Parenting, Executive Function Coaching, Social-Emotional Learning (SEL), Child Behaviour Management, or related field
Experience supporting children with ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), anxiety, or executive functioning challenges
Knowledge of healthy technology use, family systems, and behaviour management strategies
Training in strengths-based, solution-focused, or trauma-informed approaches is advantageous
UAE Licensing Requirements
Tutors and educational specialists operating in the UAE are required to hold a valid MOHRE Tutor Permit or equivalent work authorisation. Applicants must hold, or be eligible to obtain, the relevant permit before providing in-person services. Please ensure compliance with UAE Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation regulations.

Applicants must be legally authorised to work in the UAE through one of the following:

Dependent Visa with legal work eligibility
Any other valid UAE work authorisation
Required Experience
2+ years working with children, adolescents, or families in education, coaching, counselling, or wellbeing settings
Experience delivering programmes focused on life skills, behaviour development, executive functioning, or digital wellbeing
One-to-one coaching or tutoring experience preferred
