About the Role
As a Visual Arts: Drawing & Painting Tutor / Educator, you will provide structured lessons in drawing, painting, art appreciation, and digital illustration. Your responsibilities include planning lessons, providing exercises and projects, offering constructive feedback, tracking student progress, and supporting portfolio development or curriculum-based exams.
This role suits educators experienced in practical and theoretical aspects of visual arts, including preparation for school assessments and creative enrichment.

Drawing & Sketching: Pencil, charcoal, ink, perspective, life drawing
Painting: Watercolor, acrylic, oil, mixed media, digital painting
Art Appreciation / History: Understanding styles, techniques, and artists
Exam / Curriculum Support: IGCSE / GCSE Art, IB DP Visual Arts, Indian CBSE/ICSE Art
Digital Arts & Illustration: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Procreate
Requirements
Education & Academic Background
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Visual Arts, Fine Arts, Art Education, or a related field
Prior tutoring or teaching experience in Visual Arts
Strong knowledge of art techniques, materials, and curriculum requirements
Curriculum & Pedagogical Knowledge
Ability to teach across Early Years → Secondary / Pre-University
Familiarity with school curricula in Dubai, including:
British Curriculum (EYFS → GCSE / IGCSE Art)
American Curriculum (Elementary → High School Art)
International Baccalaureate (PYP, MYP, DP Visual Arts)
Indian Curriculum (CBSE / ICSE Art)
French international schools (Visual Arts)
Ability to support portfolio development, skill progression, and exam preparation
Teaching & Resource Skills
Ability to plan and deliver practical and theoretical lessons
Comfortable creating and using resources (worksheets, exercises, project briefs, digital tutorials)
Skilled in providing constructive feedback and assessing student progress
Communication & Professionalism
Strong verbal and written communication in English
Professional, reliable, and punctual
Able to communicate clearly with students and parents regarding goals, progress, and expectations
Legal & Work Eligibility
Must hold a valid UAE visa that legally permits freelance or commission-based work
Valid MOHRE tutoring/teaching permit required
No visa sponsorship or employment benefits provided
Applicant responsible for maintaining their own legal work eligibility
Compensation
💰 Commission-based
Earn a percentage of fees per session or package delivered
