About the Role
As a SEE / SEE2 Tutor / Educator, you will provide structured lessons using Signed Exact English to support learners across multiple age groups and academic levels. Responsibilities include:
Delivering lessons aligned with curriculum standards using SEE/SEE2
Supporting literacy and English language acquisition for DHH students
Adapting teaching strategies for beginner → advanced learners
Tracking student progress and providing constructive feedback
This role is ideal for educators experienced in inclusive education, sign language instruction, and English-based communication.
Requirements
Education & Academic Background
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Special Education, English, Linguistics, or related field
Prior tutoring or teaching experience using SEE / SEE2 / Conceptually Accurate Signed English
Strong knowledge of English grammar and vocabulary for academic instruction
Curriculum & Pedagogical Knowledge
Ability to teach Beginner → Advanced levels
Familiarity with school curricula taught in Dubai, including:
British (EYFS → GCSE / IGCSE)
American (Elementary → High School)
International Baccalaureate (PYP, MYP, DP)
Indian (CBSE / ICSE)
French or other international schools
Ability to support academic instruction, literacy development, and bridging between English and ASL
Teaching & Resource Skills
Ability to plan and deliver curriculum-aligned SEE/SEE2 lessons
Comfortable creating and using resources such as:
Signed exercises and visual aids
Literacy support materials
Academic content adaptation for DHH learners
Skilled in providing constructive feedback and tracking progress
Communication & Professionalism
Strong communication skills in English and SEE/SEE2
Professional, reliable, and punctual
Able to communicate clearly with students, parents, and colleagues
Legal & Work Eligibility
Must hold a valid UAE visa that legally permits freelance or commission-based work
Valid MOHRE tutoring/teaching permit required
No visa sponsorship or employment benefits provided
Applicant responsible for maintaining their own legal work eligibility
Compensation
💰 Commission-based
Earn a percentage of fees per session or package delivered
Earnings are performance-based and uncapped
