Role Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Anger Management for Children Tutor to help children develop healthy emotional regulation, self-control, and positive coping strategies.
You will work one-on-one with learners to identify emotional triggers, build emotional awareness, improve communication skills, and teach practical techniques for managing frustration, disappointment, and conflict in age-appropriate ways.
Sessions focus on equipping children with lifelong emotional and behavioural skills that support success at home, school, and within their social relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Assess each child's emotional, behavioural, and developmental needs
Develop personalised anger management programmes tailored to the child's age and goals
Teach emotional awareness, self-regulation, and calming strategies
Help children recognise triggers and respond appropriately to challenging situations
Use play-based, interactive, and evidence-informed activities to reinforce learning
Strengthen communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills
Build children's confidence, resilience, empathy, and self-esteem
Collaborate with parents to reinforce strategies at home
Maintain professional session records and monitor student progress
Coordinate with educators, therapists, or other professionals where appropriate
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, Counselling, Social Work, Child Development, or a related field
MOHRE Tutor Permit or eligibility to obtain
Minimum 2 years' experience working with children in education, counselling, behaviour support, or related settings
Strong understanding of child development and emotional regulation
Preferred Qualifications
Certification in Child Behaviour Management, Anger Management, Play Therapy, Positive Discipline, or related field
Experience supporting children with ADHD, Autism, anxiety, or emotional regulation challenges
Knowledge of social-emotional learning (SEL) frameworks
Training in trauma-informed or strengths-based approaches
UAE Licensing Requirements
Tutors and educational specialists operating in the UAE are required to hold a valid MOHRE Tutor Permit or equivalent work authorisation. Applicants must hold, or be eligible to obtain, the relevant permit before providing in-person services. Please ensure compliance with UAE Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation regulations.

Any other valid UAE work authorisation
Required Experience
2+ years working with children in educational, counselling, behavioural, or therapeutic settings
Experience supporting emotional regulation or behaviour development
One-to-one coaching or tutoring experience preferred
