Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Homeschooling Consultant — UAE Region to support families in planning, organising, and managing effective home-education programmes for children and teenagers.


The successful candidate will guide parents through curriculum selection, academic planning, learner assessment, scheduling, resource development, progress monitoring, examination pathways, and transitions into schools, universities, or international qualifications. The consultant should understand the needs of families living in the UAE and be familiar with British, American, IB, Cambridge, Pearson Edexcel, CBSE, and other recognised international education pathways.


Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct detailed consultations with parents to understand each learner’s academic history, strengths, needs, interests, and long-term goals

  • Recommend suitable curricula, qualification pathways, learning resources, and educational programmes

  • Develop personalised homeschooling plans, timetables, subject structures, and academic targets

  • Guide families in selecting appropriate tutors, online schools, examination boards, textbooks, and learning platforms

  • Support parents in creating structured, balanced, and age-appropriate learning routines

  • Advise families on British, American, IB, Cambridge, Pearson Edexcel, CBSE, and alternative education pathways

  • Help learners prepare for school entrance, reintegration, standardised assessments, external examinations, or university admissions

  • Coordinate multidisciplinary tutoring and specialist support where required

  • Monitor academic progress and recommend adjustments to the homeschooling programme

  • Support families with portfolio development, record keeping, progress reports, and evidence of learning

  • Provide guidance on socialisation, enrichment, extracurricular activities, life skills, and independent learning

  • Help families identify learning gaps, additional support needs, or gifted education opportunities

  • Refer families to qualified educational psychologists, therapists, counsellors, or other specialists where appropriate

  • Stay informed about UAE education requirements, examination access, school admission procedures, and relevant regulatory updates

  • Maintain professional confidentiality and accurate consultation records


Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Curriculum Studies, Educational Psychology, Child Development, School Leadership, or a related field

  • MOHRE Tutor Permit or eligibility to obtain where direct tutoring services are provided

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in teaching, educational consulting, curriculum planning, homeschooling support, or school leadership

  • Strong understanding of international curricula and qualification pathways

  • Experience working directly with parents and families


Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Education, Curriculum and Instruction, Educational Leadership, or a related discipline

  • PGCE, B.Ed., QTS, school leadership qualification, or recognised teaching certification

  • Experience supporting homeschooling families in the UAE or wider GCC region

  • Experience with Cambridge International, Pearson Edexcel, IB, American curriculum, CBSE, or online-school pathways

  • Knowledge of special educational needs, gifted education, university admissions, and alternative education models

  • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary educational teams


UAE Licensing Requirements

Applicants providing educational services within the UAE should hold the appropriate work authorisation. A MOHRE Tutor Permit may be required if services include direct tutoring. Consultants must ensure that all educational guidance and services comply with relevant UAE regulations and must not represent themselves as a school, examination centre, therapist, or government authority unless separately licensed to do so.


UAE Visa & Work Eligibility

Applicants must be legally authorised to work in the UAE through one of the following:

  • Own UAE Employment Visa

  • Golden Visa

  • Green Visa

  • Freelance Permit

  • Dependent Visa with legal work eligibility

  • Any other valid UAE work authorisation

  • 5+ years in education, curriculum planning, school leadership, or educational consulting

  • Experience developing personalised academic programmes

  • Experience advising parents on curriculum and qualification choices

  • Experience coordinating tutors, resources, schedules, and learner progress

  • Experience supporting school transitions or external examination pathways
