Role Overview
We are seeking a professional and engaging Manners, Etiquette & Respect Skills Tutor to help children and teenagers develop the social, behavioural, and communication skills needed to interact confidently and respectfully in everyday life. You will work one-on-one with learners to teach age-appropriate etiquette, respectful behaviour, kindness, empathy, responsibility, and positive social interactions at home, school, and within the community.
Sessions focus on building confidence, emotional intelligence, courtesy, and strong character while equipping students with practical life skills that foster respectful relationships and responsible citizenship.
Key Responsibilities
Assess each student's social, behavioural, and communication strengths and areas for development
Develop personalised coaching programmes tailored to the learner's age, developmental stage, and individual goals
Teach age-appropriate manners, etiquette, and respectful behaviour in a variety of social settings
Help students develop positive communication skills, including active listening, polite conversation, and respectful disagreement
Teach empathy, kindness, gratitude, honesty, responsibility, and good sportsmanship
Develop confidence in greetings, introductions, table manners, hospitality, and public behaviour
Use role-playing, games, storytelling, and real-life scenarios to reinforce learning
Encourage positive peer relationships, conflict resolution, and cooperation
Support students in developing responsibility for their actions and understanding the impact of their behaviour on others
Guide parents with practical strategies to reinforce respectful behaviour and positive family values at home
Maintain professional session records and monitor student progress
Collaborate with tutors, educators, counsellors, or other professionals where appropriate
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Child Development, Counselling, Social Work, Family Studies, Hospitality, Communications, or a related field
MOHRE Tutor Permit or eligibility to obtain
Minimum 2 years' experience working with children or adolescents in educational, coaching, counselling, youth development, or related settings
Strong understanding of child development, positive behaviour support, and social-emotional learning
Preferred Qualifications
Certification in Social-Emotional Learning (SEL), Positive Discipline, Child Behaviour Management, Life Coaching, Etiquette Training, or related field
Experience supporting children with ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), anxiety, or social communication challenges
Knowledge of emotional intelligence, restorative practices, and positive behaviour strategies
Training in strengths-based or trauma-informed approaches is advantageous
UAE Licensing Requirements
Tutors and educational specialists operating in the UAE are required to hold a valid MOHRE Tutor Permit or equivalent work authorisation. Applicants must hold, or be eligible to obtain, the relevant permit before providing in-person services. Please ensure compliance with UAE Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation regulations.

Required Experience
2+ years working with children or adolescents in education, coaching, counselling, youth development, or behavioural support
Experience delivering life skills, personal development, or social skills programmes
One-to-one coaching or tutoring experience preferred
