Role Overview
We are seeking a specialist Paediatric Occupational Therapist with dedicated experience supporting infants, children, and adolescents with developmental, sensory, and functional difficulties. You will work within family homes and school environments to deliver targeted, child-centred OT interventions.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive developmental and sensory assessments for children aged 0–18
Design and deliver paediatric OT programmes tailored to each child's profile
Support children with sensory processing disorder, ASD, ADHD, and developmental delay
Train parents and caregivers in home programme delivery
Liaise with schools, SEN coordinators, and medical professionals
Write clear, professional assessment and progress reports
Review and update therapy goals in line with child progress
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
Valid DHA, DOH, or MOHAP licence (or eligibility to obtain)
Minimum 2 years dedicated paediatric OT experience
Strong knowledge of child development and paediatric conditions
Preferred Qualifications
Sensory Integration Praxis Test (SIPT) certification
Experience with early intervention programmes
Neonatal or infant development experience
UAE Licensing Requirements
This role requires a valid UAE healthcare professional licence issued by the Dubai Health Authority (DHA), Department of Health Abu Dhabi (DOH), or Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP). Applicants must hold, or be eligible to obtain, the relevant licence before providing services. Licensing requirements must comply with UAE regulations.
