Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced, results-oriented SAT Specialist Tutor to prepare students for the Digital SAT® administered by the College Board.
The successful candidate will deliver personalised preparation programmes covering SAT Reading & Writing and SAT Mathematics. The tutor will use diagnostic assessment, targeted intervention, official College Board resources, adaptive learning strategies, and full-length practice tests to help students maximise their scores and strengthen university admissions prospects.
Applicants should have demonstrated success preparing students for competitive SAT scores and a strong understanding of the current Digital SAT format.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct initial SAT diagnostic assessments
Develop personalised Digital SAT preparation plans
Deliver one-to-one and small-group SAT tuition
Teach Reading & Writing modules, including grammar, rhetoric, vocabulary in context, information synthesis, textual analysis, and evidence-based reading
Teach SAT Mathematics, including algebra, advanced mathematics, problem-solving, geometry, trigonometry, and data analysis
Explain Digital SAT structure, timing, adaptive testing, scoring, and examination strategies
Teach efficient time management and question-selection strategies
Use official College Board practice materials where appropriate
Analyse practice-test performance and identify recurring skill gaps
Assign targeted homework and revision activities
Conduct mock examinations and progress reviews
Prepare students for university admissions testing timelines
Guide students in reducing examination anxiety through structured preparation
Communicate regularly with parents regarding learner progress
Maintain accurate academic records and confidentiality
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, English, Science, Psychology, or a related field
MOHRE Tutor Permit or eligibility to obtain
Minimum 3 years' experience preparing students for SAT or equivalent university entrance examinations
Strong understanding of the current Digital SAT format
Excellent spoken and written English
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in Education or a related discipline
PGCE, B.Ed., QTS, or recognised teaching qualification
Previous College Board training or recognised SAT preparation certification
Experience preparing students for Ivy League, Russell Group, or other highly competitive university admissions
Experience teaching AP, IB Diploma, A Level, or advanced high school Mathematics and English
Demonstrated record of improving student SAT scores
UAE Licensing Requirements
Tutors providing SAT preparation in the UAE must hold a valid MOHRE Tutor Permit or equivalent work authorisation before providing private educational services.
Applicants must not claim affiliation with or official endorsement by the College Board unless separately authorised.
UAE Visa & Work Eligibility
Applicants must be legally authorised to work in the UAE through one of the following:
Own UAE Employment Visa
Golden Visa
Green Visa
Freelance Permit
Dependent Visa with legal work eligibility
Any other valid UAE work authorisation

Compensation
Earn 60% commission on all checked-in, completed, and fully paid student lessons and packages.
Commission is calculated after the student's payment has been received by Simone's Tutoring.
Payments are processed monthly.
Tutors are engaged as independent contractors and manage their own tax and visa obligations.
Additional earnings may be available through workshops, holiday programmes, group classes, and corporate training opportunities.
