About the Role
As a Maths & Logic Olympiads Tutor / Educator, you will design and deliver lessons that develop advanced mathematical thinking and problem-solving skills. You will prepare students for competitions including Math Olympiads, UKMT Challenges, AMC, and other logic-based contests. Responsibilities include:
Planning and delivering enrichment lessons aligned with competition topics
Providing problem-solving exercises, mock tests, and critical thinking activities
Tracking student progress and adapting lessons to challenge and extend abilities
Motivating students to build confidence in advanced maths topics
This role is ideal for educators experienced with gifted learners, Olympiad preparation, or advanced mathematics enrichment.
Requirements
Education & Academic Background
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education (Mathematics), or a related field
Prior experience tutoring or coaching students for Math Olympiads or logic competitions
Strong subject knowledge in:
Advanced arithmetic
Algebra
Geometry
Combinatorics
Logical reasoning
Curriculum & Pedagogical Knowledge
Ability to teach across Primary → Secondary levels
Familiarity with curricula in Dubai, including:
British (KS1–KS4, GCSE / IGCSE)
American (Elementary → High School)
International Baccalaureate (PYP, MYP, DP)
Indian (CBSE / ICSE)
French international schools
Understanding of competition-style problem solving and enrichment pedagogy
Teaching & Resource Skills
Ability to plan and deliver Olympiad-focused lessons
Create and use resources such as:
Mock tests and past competition papers
Logic and reasoning puzzles
Challenging problem sets for critical thinking
Skilled in giving constructive feedback and monitoring student improvement
Communication & Professionalism
Strong verbal and written communication in English
Professional, reliable, and punctual
Able to communicate clearly with students and parents regarding goals, progress, and expectations
Legal & Work Eligibility
Must hold a valid UAE visa that legally permits freelance or commission-based work
Valid MOHRE tutoring/teaching permit required
No visa sponsorship or employment benefits provided
Applicant responsible for maintaining their own legal work eligibility
Compensation
💰 Commission-based
Earn a percentage of fees per session or package delivered
Earnings are performance-based and uncapped
