Trial Lesson – Policy By booking a trial lesson with Simone’s Tutoring, you agree to the following terms: 1. Booking & Lesson Details Advance booking: Trial lessons must be booked at least 24 hours in advance. Lesson duration: Each trial lesson is 45 minutes. Purpose: The trial lesson is designed to assess the learner’s level, learning needs, and suitability of the teaching approach. 2. Payment Payment in advance: Full payment is required before the trial lesson to confirm the booking. Payment methods accepted: Bank transfer Cash (for in-person lessons) Online payment (secure link provided on request) Non-refundable: Trial lesson fees are non-refundable, except in cases where Simone’s Tutoring is unable to deliver the session as scheduled. 3. Cancellations & Rescheduling 24-hour notice required: Please notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations: Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled lesson will be charged in full. Rescheduling: Trial lessons may be rescheduled once, subject to availability, and must take place within 7 days of the original booking. 4. No-Show Policy If a learner does not attend the scheduled trial lesson and no prior notice is given, the session will be marked as completed, with no refund or make-up lesson provided. 5. Learning Materials All required materials are provided during the lesson unless otherwise specified. Learners are encouraged to have a notebook and pen for note-taking and practice. 6. Punctuality Lessons begin at the scheduled time. Late arrivals will not result in an extension of the session. If the tutor is delayed, the session will be extended accordingly or rescheduled. 7. Parent & Learner Communication Parents and learners are encouraged to share goals or concerns prior to the trial lesson. Feedback and recommendations will be provided following the session.
