About the Role
As a Cursive Handwriting Tutor / Educator, you will deliver lessons focused on traditional joined-up writing to improve legibility, writing speed, neatness, and confidence. You will assess students’ current skills, provide structured practice, and track progress. Lessons will be tailored to individual needs and aligned with the student’s curriculum.
This role is ideal for educators experienced in Early Years and Primary handwriting instruction, across multiple curricula.
Requirements
Education & Academic Background
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Education, Early Childhood Education, Primary Education, or a related field
Prior tutoring or teaching experience in handwriting or foundational literacy skills
Strong knowledge of cursive handwriting techniques, penmanship, and fine motor skill development
Curriculum & Pedagogical Knowledge
Ability to teach Early Years → Primary (ages 4–10)
Familiarity with curricula in Dubai, including:
British Curriculum: KS1–KS2
American Curriculum: Elementary School
International Baccalaureate: PYP
Indian Curriculum: CBSE / ICSE
French schools: Maternelle → Primary
Ability to improve students’ writing legibility, fluency, speed, and confidence
Teaching & Resource Skills
Ability to plan and deliver structured handwriting lessons
Comfortable creating or adapting worksheets, lined practice sheets, and fun exercises
Skilled in giving constructive feedback and tracking student improvement
Communication & Professionalism
Strong verbal and written communication in English
Professional, reliable, and punctual
Able to communicate clearly with students and parents regarding goals, progress, and expectations
Legal & Work Eligibility
Must hold a valid UAE visa that legally permits freelance or commission-based work
Valid MOHRE tutoring/teaching permit required
No visa sponsorship or employment benefits provided
Applicant responsible for maintaining their own legal work eligibility
Compensation
💰 Commission-based
Earn a percentage of fees per session or package delivered
Earnings are performance-based and uncapped
