About the Role
As a Data Science & AI / Machine Learning Tutor / Educator, you will:
Teach concepts in data analysis, predictive modeling, AI/ML algorithms, and visualization
Guide students in coding using Python (NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, TensorFlow, PyTorch), R, and SQL
Support learners across Secondary → University / Adult levels
Create engaging, hands-on projects and exercises to apply theoretical knowledge
Track student progress, adapt teaching strategies, and provide constructive feedback
This role is ideal for educators experienced in STEM, computational thinking, and applied data science.
Requirements
Education & Academic Background
Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or related field
Prior tutoring or teaching experience in Data Science, AI, or Machine Learning
Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and statistical modeling
Curriculum & Pedagogical Knowledge
Ability to teach Secondary → University / Adult learners
Familiarity with school curricula and programs in Dubai, including:
British (KS4, A-Level, IGCSE, Pre-University STEM)
American (High School / AP STEM courses)
IB (MYP, DP)
Indian (CBSE / ICSE Senior Secondary STEM)
Ability to integrate project-based learning, competitions, and real-world datasets
Teaching & Resource Skills
Ability to plan and deliver structured, curriculum-aligned lessons
Comfortable creating and using digital resources, including:
Notebooks, scripts, and datasets for Python, R, SQL
AI/ML visualization tools and projects
Skilled in giving constructive feedback and guiding students through complex problem-solving
Technical & Electronic Equipment Requirements
Personal computer/laptop capable of running Python, R, TensorFlow, and other ML libraries
Reliable internet connection for remote teaching and collaboration
Access to projector or dual monitors (optional but recommended for in-person lessons)
Ability to use virtual collaboration tools (Google Docs, Jupyter Notebooks, Zoom/Teams)
Communication & Professionalism
Strong verbal and written communication in English
Professional, reliable, and punctual
Able to communicate clearly with students, parents, and other educators regarding goals and progress
Legal & Work Eligibility
Must hold a valid UAE visa that legally permits freelance or commission-based work
Valid MOHRE tutoring/teaching permit required
No visa sponsorship or employment benefits provided
Applicant responsible for maintaining their own legal work eligibility
Compensation
💰 Commission-based
Earn a percentage of fees per session or package delivered
Earnings are performance-based and uncapped
