About the Role
As a Mathematics for International Exams Tutor / Educator, you will deliver tailored, exam-focused lessons to students preparing for standardised international mathematics tests. Your responsibilities include:
Assessing student proficiency and learning gaps
Planning and delivering lessons focusing on exam techniques, problem-solving, and time management
Providing practice exercises, mock tests, and feedback
Tracking student progress and adjusting strategies to maximize scores
This role is ideal for educators experienced in American High School / College Prep curricula or IB Diploma Programme (DP), and familiar with SAT Math, ACT Math, GRE Quantitative, or GMAT Quant topics.
Requirements
Education & Academic Background
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education (Mathematics), or a related field
Prior experience teaching international exam mathematics (SAT, ACT, GRE, GMAT)
Strong subject knowledge in algebra, geometry, statistics, calculus, and problem-solving techniques relevant to exam syllabi
Curriculum & Pedagogical Knowledge
Familiarity with American High School / College Prep and IB DP Math curricula
Ability to deliver exam-focused lessons, including:
Question analysis
Time management strategies
Practice with past papers and sample questions
Awareness of skill progression from foundational concepts to advanced problem-solving
Teaching & Resource Skills
Ability to create and deliver structured lesson plans for international exams
Comfortable using and developing practice exercises, worksheets, slides, and digital resources
Skilled in giving constructive feedback to improve student performance
Communication & Professionalism
Strong verbal and written communication in English
Professional, reliable, and punctual
Able to communicate clearly with students and parents regarding goals, progress, and expectations
Legal & Work Eligibility
Must hold a valid UAE visa that legally permits freelance or commission-based work
Valid MOHRE tutoring/teaching permit recommended for compliance
No visa sponsorship or employment benefits provided
Applicant responsible for maintaining their own legal work eligibility
Compensation
💰 Commission-based
Earn a percentage of fees per session or exam preparation package
Earnings are performance-based and uncapped
