About the Role
As a Specialized / Emerging Technologies Tutor / Educator, you will design and deliver hands-on, project-based lessons in advanced technology topics, including:
Blockchain / Cryptocurrency Development: Solidity, Ethereum, smart contracts
AI Chatbot / NLP Development: Python, machine learning, natural language processing
IoT & Smart Devices: Arduino, Raspberry Pi, Python, C++
You will guide students in building projects, understanding underlying technologies, and developing problem-solving and computational thinking skills.
This role is ideal for educators experienced in teaching secondary or adult learners in tech-focused subjects.
Requirements
Education & Academic Background
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
Prior experience tutoring or mentoring students in emerging technologies
Strong subject knowledge in programming languages, blockchain, AI, or IoT systems
Curriculum & Pedagogical Knowledge
Ability to teach Secondary → Adult learners
Familiarity with any curriculum in Dubai: British, American, IB, Indian, French international schools
Experience in project-based, hands-on learning
Awareness of tech industry trends and practical applications for education
Teaching & Resource Skills
Ability to plan and deliver curriculum-aligned and project-focused lessons
Comfortable creating and using resources such as:
Coding exercises and labs
Hardware and IoT projects
AI / blockchain simulations and applications
Skilled in giving constructive feedback and tracking student progress
Electronic & Technical Requirements
Applicant must have own personal computer / laptop with sufficient processing power for coding and AI/ML tools
Reliable internet connection for remote instruction
Required hardware depending on subject:
Arduino / Raspberry Pi kits for IoT projects
Python / Solidity development environment for programming tasks
Optional: VR/AR or AI-enabled hardware for advanced projects
Communication & Professionalism
Strong verbal and written communication in English
Professional, reliable, and punctual
Able to communicate clearly with students and parents regarding goals, progress, and expectations
Legal & Work Eligibility
Must hold a valid UAE visa that legally permits freelance or commission-based work
Valid MOHRE tutoring/teaching permit required
No visa sponsorship or employment benefits provided
Applicant responsible for maintaining their own legal work eligibility
Compensation
💰 Commission-based
Earn a percentage of fees per session or package delivered
Earnings are performance-based and uncapped
