As a Leadership & Personal Development Tutor / Educator, you will deliver tailored sessions focused on building leadership skills, confidence, emotional intelligence, and effective communication. Your responsibilities include designing workshops or individual lessons, monitoring progress, providing actionable feedback, and equipping students with skills they can apply in academic, social, and professional contexts.
Focus areas include:
Leadership Training: Teamwork, decision-making, goal setting, responsibility
Confidence & Self-Esteem Building: Overcoming stage fear, positive self-expression
Emotional Intelligence: Empathy, communication in leadership, conflict resolution
Presentation & Leadership Skills: Leading group discussions, moderating panels, public Q&A skills
Requirements
Education & Professional Background
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Social Sciences, Leadership, or related field
Prior experience in teaching, mentoring, or coaching students
Experience in leadership training or personal development programs preferred
Curriculum & Pedagogical Knowledge
Familiarity with school curricula in Dubai:
British: KS2–KS5
American: Middle & High School
IB: PYP, MYP, DP
Indian: CBSE / ICSE (Middle & Senior Secondary)
French: Collège & Lycée levels
Ability to align lessons with age-appropriate developmental goals
Experience working with students across primary, secondary, and pre-university levels
Teaching & Resource Skills
Ability to plan and deliver interactive lessons and workshops
Skilled in mentoring students individually and in groups
Ability to create activities, exercises, or role-plays to reinforce learning
Comfortable providing feedback to students and parents
Communication & Professionalism
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to motivate students and foster a safe, supportive learning environment
Professional, reliable, and punctual
Legal & Work Eligibility
Must hold a valid UAE visa permitting employment or freelance work
Valid MOHRE tutoring/teaching permit recommended for compliance
