Role Overview
Simone's Tutoring is seeking a Business Tutor for face-to-face tutoring in Ras Al Khaimah. The tutor will provide personalised support in Business and Business Studies for school-age learners, adapting lessons to the student's curriculum, level and goals.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver clear, structured one-to-one Business and Business Studies lessons.
Support core topics such as business ownership, stakeholders, marketing, operations, human resources, finance, strategy and external influences within the tutor's verified expertise.
Develop students' application, analysis, evaluation, case-study interpretation and extended-response skills.
Support schoolwork, revision and examination preparation only for curricula and exam pathways the tutor is genuinely qualified to teach.
Provide concise progress feedback and communicate professionally with parents and the Simone's Tutoring team.
Maintain safeguarding, punctuality, reliability and professional boundaries at all times.
Minimum Requirements
Relevant bachelor's degree in Business, Business Management, Commerce, Economics, Accounting, Finance, Education or a closely related field.
Demonstrable experience teaching or tutoring Business / Business Studies, preferably at secondary or post-16 level.
Strong written and spoken English and the ability to explain business concepts clearly using real-world examples and case studies.
Ability to teach in person in the stated location and travel reliably to student homes or approved learning venues.
Legal right to work in the UAE and willingness to obtain or maintain the MOHRE Private Tutor Permit or other applicable approval before assignments.
Preferred Experience
Experience with British GCSE/IGCSE and A Level Business, IB Business Management, American high-school Business courses, UAE MoE, CBSE/ICSE or other international curricula within verified competence.
PGCE, B.Ed, recognised teaching licence or equivalent education qualification.
Experience preparing students for external assessments, case-study questions, command words, mark schemes and extended responses.
UAE school or tutoring experience and confidence differentiating for individual learning needs.
Freelance tutoring engagement. Payment is based on completed and fully paid sessions under the agreed tutor commission or session-rate arrangement. This is not an employment or visa-sponsorship position. The tutor is responsible for maintaining valid UAE residence/work authorisation, required tutoring approvals and reliable transport.
