About the Role
As a Cybersecurity & Ethical Hacking Tutor / Educator, you will provide instruction in network security, ethical hacking, penetration testing, and encryption, using professional tools and programming languages. You will design lessons, practical labs, and exercises, track student progress, and prepare learners for certifications or university-level coursework.
This role is ideal for educators experienced with secondary to adult learners, interested in project-based and hands-on cybersecurity instruction.
Requirements
Education & Academic Background
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
Prior experience tutoring or teaching secondary, pre-university, or adult learners in cybersecurity
Strong knowledge of network security, ethical hacking, penetration testing, and encryption
Technical & Pedagogical Knowledge
Proficiency in Python, Kali Linux, Wireshark, Linux commands, or other relevant cybersecurity tools
Familiarity with curricula or certification requirements in cybersecurity (optional but beneficial)
Ability to create and deliver hands-on labs, exercises, and simulations
Knowledge of ethical and legal considerations for cybersecurity instruction
Electronic Equipment / Workspace Requirements
Applicant must have own personal laptop or desktop with sufficient specifications for running:
Virtual machines, Kali Linux, network simulation tools
Wireshark or other packet analysis software
Reliable internet connection
Quiet and professional teaching environment
Communication & Professionalism
Strong verbal and written communication in English
Professional, reliable, and punctual
Able to communicate clearly with students and parents regarding goals, progress, and expectations
Legal & Work Eligibility
Must hold a valid UAE visa that legally permits freelance or commission-based work
Valid MOHRE tutoring/teaching permit required
No visa sponsorship or employment benefits provided
Applicant responsible for maintaining their own legal work eligibility
Compensation
💰 Commission-based
Earn a percentage of fees per session or package delivered
Earnings are performance-based and uncapped

Experience creating digital or printable teaching resources for labs and exercises
Ability to support learners across multiple curricula in Dubai
