American & International Online Curriculum Specialist Tutor

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly adaptable American & International Online Curriculum Specialist Tutor to support students enrolled in online schools, virtual academies, homeschooling programmes, and international curricula. You will deliver engaging online lessons, help students stay on track with coursework, reinforce subject knowledge, improve academic performance, and foster independent learning across a range of grade levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess students' academic strengths, challenges, and online learning needs

• Deliver personalised online tutoring aligned with American and international curricula

• Support students with daily coursework, assignments, projects, and examinations

• Teach effective study skills, organisation, and time management strategies

• Assist students in navigating online learning platforms and virtual classrooms

• Monitor academic progress and communicate regularly with parents

• Collaborate with subject specialists where additional academic support is required

• Encourage student motivation, engagement, and independent learning

  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant subject area

• MOHRE Tutor Permit or eligibility to obtain

• Minimum 2 years' experience teaching or tutoring online

• Strong knowledge of American, British, IB, or other international curricula

  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• PGCE or recognised teaching qualification

• Experience teaching multiple international curricula

• Online teaching certifications or digital learning credentials

• Experience supporting homeschooling or virtual school students

  
  

UAE Licensing Requirements

Tutors and educational specialists operating in the UAE are required to hold a valid MOHRE Tutor Permit or equivalent work authorisation. Applicants must hold, or be eligible to obtain, the relevant permit before providing in-person services. Please ensure compliance with UAE Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation regulations.

UAE Visa & Work Eligibility

Applicants must be legally authorised to work in the UAE through one of the following:

• Own UAE Employment Visa

• Golden Visa

• Green Visa

• Freelance Permit

• Dependent Visa with legal work eligibility

• Any other valid UAE work authorisation
