About the Role
As a Specialized Maths Tutor / Educator, you will deliver focused lessons in advanced or specialised mathematics topics. Your role includes:
Assessing student proficiency and identifying learning gaps
Creating and delivering structured lessons aligned with curriculum standards
Providing exam-focused support and practice exercises
Tracking student progress and adapting teaching strategies for maximum understanding
Specialized areas may include:
Statistics & Probability: Support for IB, A-Level, or university prep
Mechanics / Physics-Linked Maths: For IB DP or A-Level Physics students
Mathematics for Computer Science / Programming
Curricula: IB DP, A-Level, SAT Subject Tests, Advanced Placement (AP)
Requirements
Education & Academic Background
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, Education (Maths), or a related field
Prior experience teaching or tutoring specialised mathematics topics
Familiarity with IB DP, A-Level, SAT Subject Tests, or AP Mathematics curricula
Curriculum & Pedagogical Knowledge
Understanding of age-appropriate learning objectives and advanced topic progression
Ability to deliver exam-focused lessons and practice exercises
Experience supporting students in problem-solving, critical thinking, and advanced applications
Teaching & Resource Skills
Ability to plan and deliver structured lessons for specialised topics
Comfortable creating and using teaching resources (worksheets, problem sets, slides, online exercises)
Skilled in giving constructive feedback and tracking progress
Communication & Professionalism
Strong verbal and written communication in English
Professional, reliable, and punctual
Able to communicate clearly with students and parents regarding goals, progress, and expectations
Legal & Work Eligibility
Must hold a valid UAE visa that legally permits freelance or commission-based work
MOHRE tutoring/teaching permit required
No visa sponsorship or employment benefits provided
Applicant responsible for maintaining their own legal work eligibility
Compensation
💰 Commission-based
Earn a percentage of fees per session or package delivered
Earnings are performance-based and uncapped

Upper Secondary / Pre-University (Ages 16–19)

Specialised subjects taught (Statistics, Mechanics, Maths for CS, etc.)
Curriculum(s) experienced (IB DP, A-Level, SAT, AP)
