About the Role
As an Advanced / University Preparation Maths Tutor / Educator, you will deliver tailored lessons in advanced mathematical topics such as Calculus, Linear Algebra, Statistics, Mechanics, and Discrete Mathematics. Your role includes planning lessons, providing practice and exam support, tracking student progress, and adapting teaching strategies to ensure mastery of concepts and exam readiness.
This role suits educators experienced in upper secondary and pre-university mathematics, across curricula such as A-Level, IB DP Higher Level, SAT Subject Tests, or Foundation/Bridging programmes.
Requirements
Education & Academic Background
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, or Education (Mathematics)
Prior experience teaching A-Level, IB DP Higher Level Maths, or university preparation programmes
Strong subject knowledge in Calculus, Linear Algebra, Statistics, Mechanics, and Discrete Mathematics
Curriculum & Pedagogical Knowledge
Familiarity with one or more curricula taught in Dubai:
A-Level Maths
IB Diploma Programme (Higher Level)
SAT Subject Tests – Math Level 1/2
Foundation / Bridging Programmes
Ability to deliver exam-focused lessons and guide students through advanced problem-solving
Awareness of skill progression from Upper Secondary to Pre-University
Teaching & Resource Skills
Ability to plan and deliver structured lessons aligned with curriculum standards
Comfortable creating and using worksheets, practice exercises, past papers, and online resources
Skilled in providing constructive feedback and tracking student progress
Communication & Professionalism
Strong verbal and written communication in English
Professional, reliable, and punctual
Able to communicate clearly with students and parents regarding goals, progress, and expectations
Legal & Work Eligibility
Must hold a valid UAE visa that legally permits freelance or commission-based work
Valid MOHRE tutoring/teaching permit recommended for compliance
No visa sponsorship or employment benefits provided
Applicant responsible for maintaining their own legal work eligibility
Compensation
💰 Commission-based
Earn a percentage of fees per session or package delivered
Earnings are performance-based and uncapped

Upper Secondary → Pre-University (Years 10–13 / Form 4–6 / Ages 15–18+)
