Role Overview
We are seeking a qualified Audiologist to assess and manage hearing and balance disorders in children and young people across Dubai. You will provide diagnostic audiology services, hearing aid fitting support, and rehabilitative audiology to support children with hearing loss and auditory processing difficulties.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive audiological assessments for children
Diagnose hearing loss, auditory processing disorders (APD), and related conditions
Provide hearing aid fitting guidance and auditory rehabilitation
Advise families on communication strategies and hearing assistive technology
Liaise with ENT specialists, SLTs, and school audiologists
Write detailed audiological reports and recommendations
Support children with cochlear implants in educational settings
Minimum Qualifications
Master's degree or higher in Audiology
Valid DHA, DOH, or MOHAP licence (or eligibility to obtain)
Minimum 2 years clinical audiology experience
Experience in paediatric audiology preferred
Preferred Qualifications
Paediatric audiology specialisation
Auditory Processing Disorder (APD) assessment experience
Cochlear implant programme experience
UAE Licensing Requirements
This role requires a valid UAE healthcare professional licence issued by the Dubai Health Authority (DHA), Department of Health Abu Dhabi (DOH), or Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP). Applicants must hold, or be eligible to obtain, the relevant licence before providing services. Licensing requirements must comply with UAE regulations.
