I’m Simone Dahkoul from South Africa, the heart behind Simone’s Tutoring. Based in Dubai Silicon Oasis, I specialize in creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment for children and adults alike — whether we’re learning to read for the first time or refining conversational English skills.
My Story
With a strong foundation in language development and a passion for nurturing confident learners, I bring a diverse range of qualifications and experience to every session. I hold a Bachelor’s in Business Administration, TEFL certification, and multiple mental-health and child-development certifications, including:

Since 2016, I’ve had the privilege of working with learners from age 3 to adults, helping them build strong foundations, develop confidence, and experience real progress. These years of hands-on experience have shown me how powerful personalised support can be—and how the right guidance can unlock success in any learner.
I offer tutoring in both English and Afrikaans, blending a gentle, play-based approach for younger children with a clear, structured, and supportive style for older students and adults. Whether your child needs help with early reading, writing, and phonics, or you’re looking to improve conversational fluency or writing skills, each lesson is thoughtfully designed around the learner’s age, level, and personal goals.
In addition to foundational language development, I also provide support aligned with the school syllabus, assist with exam preparation, and focus on specific learning goals parents or students may have — whether it's improving spelling, understanding grammar, preparing for reading assessments, or simply building classroom confidence.
Lessons can be one-on-one or in small groups, and I also host weekend storytime sessions and interactive language workshops to create an inviting and community-based learning experience. Every session is tailored to meet the unique pace, interests, and challenges of each learner.
Above all, I believe learning should feel like a joyful journey of discovery — not just a task to complete. My goal is to make every student feel encouraged, capable, and proud of their progress, whether we’re tackling schoolwork, preparing for an exam, or building everyday communication skills.
