About the Role
As a Mobile App Development Tutor / Educator, you will provide lessons to students from Secondary through Adults, guiding them through the design, coding, testing, and deployment of mobile applications. You will create lesson plans, support practical projects, and help students develop problem-solving and technical skills aligned with their learning goals.
This role is ideal for educators experienced in mobile app development and familiar with multiple platforms or programming languages.
Requirements
Education & Academic Background
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
Prior experience tutoring or mentoring students in mobile app development
Strong knowledge of programming languages and platforms: Swift (iOS), Kotlin / Java (Android), React Native, Flutter
Curriculum & Pedagogical Knowledge
Ability to teach Secondary → Adults
Familiarity with curricula taught in Dubai:
British (IGCSE, A-Level)
American (High School / AP)
International Baccalaureate (MYP, DP)
Indian (CBSE / ICSE)
French or other international schools
Ability to support project-based learning and practical coding assignments
Teaching & Resource Skills
Plan and deliver lessons covering:
App design and UI/UX principles
Coding, debugging, and testing
Deployment to app stores or emulator testing
Comfortable creating digital learning resources and practical exercises
Skilled in providing constructive feedback and tracking student progress
Required Electronic Equipment
Laptop or desktop capable of running development environments
Mobile devices or emulators for testing iOS and Android apps
Reliable internet connection
Access to relevant IDEs: Xcode, Android Studio, Visual Studio Code, Flutter SDK
Communication & Professionalism
Strong verbal and written communication in English
Professional, reliable, and punctual
Able to communicate clearly with students and parents regarding goals and progress
Legal & Work Eligibility
Must hold a valid UAE visa that legally permits freelance or commission-based work
Valid MOHRE tutoring/teaching permit required
No visa sponsorship or employment benefits provided
Applicant responsible for maintaining their own legal work eligibility
Compensation
💰 Commission-based
Earn a percentage of fees per session or package delivered
Earnings are performance-based and uncapped
