Role Overview
We are recruiting a qualified Occupational Therapist to support children and young people with sensory, motor, self-care, and functional challenges. You will deliver personalised OT interventions in home and school settings across Dubai, helping children achieve greater independence and participation in daily life.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct functional and sensory assessments
Develop and implement individualised OT intervention plans
Address sensory processing, fine/gross motor, and self-care skills
Collaborate with families, teachers, and other therapists
Provide home programmes and parental coaching
Write professional reports and progress notes
Recommend and advise on adaptive equipment and environmental modifications
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
Valid DHA, DOH, or MOHAP licence (or eligibility to obtain)
Minimum 2 years post-qualification OT experience
Experience working with children with developmental or sensory needs
Preferred Qualifications
Sensory Integration certification (e.g. SIPT, SI Certificate)
Experience with ASD, ADHD, cerebral palsy, or developmental delay
School-based OT experience
UAE Licensing Requirements
This role requires a valid UAE healthcare professional licence issued by the Dubai Health Authority (DHA), Department of Health Abu Dhabi (DOH), or Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP). Applicants must hold, or be eligible to obtain, the relevant licence before providing services. Licensing requirements must comply with UAE regulations.

Freelance Permit
Dependent Visa with legal work eligibility
Any other valid UAE work authorisation
