UAE Mid-Term Break 2026: Tutoring and Revision Planning for Families

For schools following the Ministry of Education calendar, the 2026–27 calendar lists a mid-term break from 12 to 18 October 2026, with students returning on 19 October. Other curricula and individual school calendars may differ.

UAE mid-term break 2026: plan revision around your school calendar

A school break can create room for a reset, a short revision block or a consultation about a student’s priorities. It does not need to become a week of extra lessons: a balanced plan should leave space for rest and family time.

Before arranging tutoring, check the student’s own school calendar and any assessment dates. Confirm availability directly with the tutor and agree on a small number of clear goals for the break.
