About the Role
As a Digital / Multimedia Arts Tutor / Educator, you will teach students from Primary through Secondary/Pre-University levels in creative and digital subjects. Your role includes designing lessons, guiding students in hands-on projects, tracking progress, and supporting portfolio development.
Subjects and specialisations may include:
Graphic Design
Animation & Motion Graphics
Video Editing & Storytelling
Game Design Basics
The purpose of the role is to develop 21st-century creative skills, foster independent thinking, and prepare students for creative careers or academic portfolios.
Requirements
Education & Professional Background
Bachelor’s degree or professional experience in Digital Arts, Multimedia, Graphic Design, Animation, Video Production, Game Design, or related field
Previous teaching or tutoring experience is highly preferred
Strong subject expertise in at least one of the listed areas
Curriculum & Pedagogical Knowledge
Ability to teach students from Primary → Secondary / Pre-University levels
Familiarity with school curricula in Dubai, including:
British (KS1–KS5, GCSE / IGCSE / A-Level)
American (Elementary → High School)
International Baccalaureate (PYP, MYP, DP)
Indian (CBSE / ICSE)
French / international schools
Ability to integrate curriculum standards with project-based and portfolio-focused learning
Technical & Practical Skills
Must have own electronic equipment for teaching/tutoring (computer, tablet, software) with tools such as:
Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, After Effects)
Blender, Unity, or other animation/game software
Video editing tools and digital storytelling platforms
Ability to create student-friendly, low-prep teaching resources
Communication & Professionalism
Strong verbal and written communication in English
Professional, reliable, and punctual
Ability to give clear, constructive feedback on creative work
Legal & Work Eligibility (Dubai)
Must hold a valid UAE visa that legally permits freelance or commission-based work
Valid MOHRE tutoring/teaching permit required
No visa sponsorship or employment benefits provided
Applicant responsible for maintaining their own legal work eligibility
Compensation
💰 Commission-based
Earn a percentage of fees per session or package delivered
Earnings are performance-based and uncapped
