About the Role
As a Game Development & Design Tutor / Educator, you will:
Deliver lessons in 2D/3D game design, interactive mechanics, and storytelling
Guide students in using platforms/engines such as Unity (C#), Unreal Engine (C++), Godot, and Roblox Studio
Support students from Primary → Pre-University / Adults in developing coding and creative problem-solving skills
Plan lessons, track progress, and adapt teaching strategies to the student’s skill level and curriculum requirements
This role is ideal for educators experienced in game development, coding, and design, who enjoy mentoring students in tech-focused, creative projects.
Requirements
Education & Academic Background
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Game Design, Software Engineering, or Education with tech specialization
Prior experience tutoring or teaching coding, game development, or STEM subjects
Strong knowledge of programming and game development platforms (Unity, Unreal Engine, Godot, Roblox Studio)
Curriculum & Pedagogical Knowledge
Ability to teach across Primary → Pre-University / Adult levels
Familiarity with school curricula in Dubai, including:
British (KS1–KS4, GCSE / IGCSE)
American (Elementary → High School)
IB (PYP, MYP, DP)
Indian (CBSE / ICSE)
French international schools
Experience supporting project-based learning, coding competitions, or enrichment programs
Teaching & Resource Skills
Ability to design curriculum-aligned, interactive, and project-based lessons
Comfortable creating and using resources for coding and game development
Skilled in giving constructive feedback and tracking student progress
Electronic Equipment / Technical Requirements
Personal computer or laptop capable of running game engines (Unity, Unreal Engine, Godot)
High-speed internet connection
Access to a quiet, professional teaching environment for remote sessions
Optional: Drawing tablet or other peripherals for design work
Communication & Professionalism
Strong verbal and written communication in English
Professional, reliable, and punctual
Able to communicate clearly with students and parents regarding goals, progress, and expectations
Legal & Work Eligibility
Must hold a valid UAE visa permitting freelance or commission-based work
Valid MOHRE tutoring/teaching permit required
No visa sponsorship or employment benefits provided
Applicant responsible for maintaining their own legal work eligibility
Compensation
💰 Commission-based
Earn a percentage of fees per session or package delivered
Earnings are performance-based and uncapped
