Role Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Anger Management & Respect Skills Tutor to support children and teenagers in developing emotional regulation, respectful behaviour, empathy, and positive interpersonal skills. You will work one-on-one with learners to help them understand and manage their emotions, respond appropriately to challenging situations, communicate respectfully, and build healthy relationships with peers, family members, and teachers.
Sessions focus on equipping students with practical life skills that foster emotional intelligence, self-control, accountability, and respectful behaviour in both school and everyday life.
Key Responsibilities
Assess each student's emotional, behavioural, and social development needs
Develop personalised coaching programmes tailored to the learner's age, goals, and challenges
Teach healthy anger management strategies and emotional regulation techniques
Help students recognise emotional triggers and respond constructively to difficult situations
Develop respect for parents, teachers, peers, and community members through positive behaviour coaching
Teach empathy, kindness, active listening, conflict resolution, and effective communication
Use engaging, age-appropriate activities, role-playing, games, and real-life scenarios to reinforce learning
Strengthen self-awareness, self-confidence, resilience, and personal responsibility
Collaborate with parents to reinforce positive behaviours and strategies at home
Maintain professional session records and monitor student progress
Coordinate with tutors, school staff, counsellors, or other professionals where appropriate
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, Counselling, Social Work, Child Development, or a related field
MOHRE Tutor Permit or eligibility to obtain
Minimum 2 years' experience working with children or adolescents in education, counselling, behaviour support, or related settings
Strong understanding of child development, emotional regulation, and positive behaviour support
Preferred Qualifications
Certification in Child Behaviour Management, Anger Management, Positive Discipline, Social-Emotional Learning (SEL), or a related field
Experience supporting children with ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), anxiety, or emotional regulation challenges
Knowledge of restorative practices, conflict resolution, and behaviour intervention strategies
Training in trauma-informed or strengths-based approaches
UAE Licensing Requirements
Tutors and educational specialists operating in the UAE are required to hold a valid MOHRE Tutor Permit or equivalent work authorisation. Applicants must hold, or be eligible to obtain, the relevant permit before providing in-person services. Please ensure compliance with UAE Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation regulations.

Freelance Permit
Dependent Visa with legal work eligibility
Any other valid UAE work authorisation
Required Experience
2+ years working with children or adolescents in educational, behavioural, counselling, or therapeutic settings
Experience delivering anger management, behaviour support, or social-emotional learning programmes
One-to-one coaching or tutoring experience preferred
