Positive Parenting Consultant

Role Overview

We are looking for a qualified Positive Parenting Consultant to support families across Dubai in building warm, effective, and respectful parent-child relationships. You will deliver evidence-based positive parenting programmes, coaching, and workshops to help parents raise confident, emotionally healthy children.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct parenting consultations and family needs assessments

• Deliver positive parenting programmes (Triple P, Circle of Security, or equivalent)

• Facilitate 1:1 and group positive parenting coaching sessions

• Teach respectful, authoritative, and attachment-based parenting strategies

• Support parents with challenging child behaviours, sibling relationships, and discipline

• Provide culturally sensitive parenting guidance for diverse families

• Collaborate with family therapists, school counsellors, and paediatricians

Minimum Qualifications

• Recognised Positive Parenting qualification or certification (Triple P, NVR, Circle of Security, or equivalent)

• Minimum 2 years positive parenting consultation or family coaching experience

• Strong knowledge of child development, attachment, and positive behaviour support

• Commitment to evidence-based, non-judgmental family-centred practice

Preferred Qualifications

• Triple P (Positive Parenting Programme) accreditation

• NVR (Non-Violent Resistance) training

• Experience with families of children with ASD, ADHD, or behavioural challenges

UAE Licensing & Professional Requirements

Coaching and holistic wellbeing practice is not regulated by a single authority in the UAE; however, practitioners must hold recognised professional qualifications and relevant certifications from reputable bodies. For any clinical or quasi-clinical services, a DHA, DOH, or MOHAP licence may be required. All practitioners must comply with applicable UAE regulations and operate strictly within their professional scope of practice.

UAE Visa & Work Eligibility

Applicants must be legally authorised to work in the UAE through one of the following:

• Own UAE Employment Visa

• Golden Visa

• Green Visa

• Freelance Permit

• Dependent Visa with legal work eligibility

• Any other valid UAE work authorisation
