This Refund and Cancellation Policy (“Policy”) explains how cancellations, refunds, credits, rescheduling, subscriptions, and missed sessions are handled on Simones Tutoring FZE (“Simones Tutoring,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).

By purchasing or booking tutoring sessions, classes, subscriptions, educational programs, workshops, or related services (“Services”) through Simones Tutoring, you agree to this Policy in addition to our Terms of Service and other applicable policies.

1. General Refund Principles

Simones Tutoring aims to provide fair and reasonable solutions for students, parents, educators, and platform users.

Refund eligibility may depend on:

  • Timing of cancellation;

Students or parents may cancel tutoring sessions before the scheduled start time.

  • Late cancellations may be partially refundable or non-refundable;

  • Missed sessions without notice are generally non-refundable.

b. Educator Cancellations

If an educator cancels a session:

  • Simones Tutoring may offer rescheduling options;

  • Replacement educators may be offered where appropriate;

  • Account credits or refunds may be provided.

Repeated educator cancellations may result in educator review, suspension, or removal.

3. Recurring Weekly Classes and Subscriptions

Recurring classes, memberships, or subscription-based Services may renew automatically unless canceled before the next billing cycle.

Users are responsible for:

  • Monitoring active subscriptions;

  • Managing cancellation timing;

  • Reviewing billing schedules.

Unless otherwise stated:

  • Cancellation stops future billing cycles only;

  • Previously processed subscription payments are generally non-refundable;

  • Access may continue until the current billing period ends.

Certain educational programs may require minimum commitments or fixed enrollment periods.

4. Missed Sessions and No-Shows

If a student misses a scheduled session:

  • The session may be considered completed;

  • Refunds are generally not provided;

  • Makeup sessions are not guaranteed.

Exceptions may be considered in limited circumstances at Simones Tutoring’s discretion.

Users are responsible for:

  • Attending sessions on time;

  • Maintaining internet access and equipment;

  • Reviewing schedules and time zones carefully.

5. Technical Issues

Refunds or credits related to technical problems may depend on:

  • The source of the issue;

  • Session disruption severity;

  • Availability of rescheduling;

  • Educator participation;

  • User device or internet conditions.

Simones Tutoring is not responsible for:

  • Internet outages outside our control;

  • User device failures;

  • Unsupported browsers or software;

  • External platform disruptions.

Where appropriate, we may provide:

  • Rescheduled sessions;

  • Partial credits;

  • Alternative educational support.

6. Package Programs and Multi-Session Courses

Educational packages or multi-session programs may have additional terms regarding:

  • Expiration dates;

  • Attendance requirements;

  • Fixed schedules;

  • Session usage deadlines;

  • Refund eligibility.

Unless otherwise stated:

  • Partially used packages may not be fully refundable;

  • Unused sessions may expire;

  • Program fees may become non-refundable after commencement.

7. Promotional Offers and Discounted Purchases

Purchases made using:

  • Promo codes;

  • Referral rewards;

  • Scholarship credits;

  • Membership discounts;

  • Bonus credits;

  • Promotional pricing

may have separate refund limitations.

Promotional credits or discounts may:

  • Expire;

  • Be non-transferable;

  • Not be reinstated after refunds.

8. Account Credits

Instead of monetary refunds, Simones Tutoring may issue:

  • Platform credits;

  • Learning credits;

  • Rescheduling balances;

  • Promotional replacement credits.

Credits:

  • May expire;

  • Are generally non-transferable;

  • Usually cannot be redeemed for cash;

  • May only be used for eligible Services.

9. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

If a user initiates a chargeback or payment dispute:

  • Access to Services may be suspended;

  • Future bookings may be restricted;

  • Simones Tutoring may investigate the transaction;

  • Supporting documentation may be shared with payment providers.

Fraudulent or abusive chargebacks may result in account suspension or permanent termination.

10. Refund Processing Times

Approved refunds may take time to process depending on:

  • Payment provider;

  • Currency conversion requirements.

Estimated processing times may vary and are not guaranteed.

Any foreign transaction fees or exchange rate differences imposed by third parties are outside Simones Tutoring’s control.

  • Harassment or abusive behavior;
